TOUR PROGRAM

Day 1 - Tehran. Overnight in Shiraz.

Arrival in Tehran. Meeting at the airport, transfer to the hotel for a short rest.
Sightseeing tour of Tehran: the tour begins with a visit to the carpet museum*. In the museum, in addition to carpets from different regions of Iran, you can also see historical carpets, whose age is several centuries old. Next, visit the majestic Golestan palace complex and Azadi Square, where one of the symbols of Tehran is located - the Azadi Tower. In the evening flight to Shiraz. Hotel accommodation in Shiraz.

Day 2 - Shiraz. Overnight in Shiraz.

Breakfast in the hotel. Sightseeing tour of the city, which Yesenin mentioned in his works. The tour begins with a visit to the famous mosaic Nasir-ol-Molk mosque. The morning rays of the sun, refracting in the multi-colored windows of the mosque, create a unique play of light and magical patterns. After the mosque, visit the historical Narajestan garden and the historical Zandiye complex (Karim Khan fortress, Vakil bazaar and Vakil baths). In the afternoon, get acquainted with the classic of Persian poetry Hafez and visit the mirror mosque of Ali ibn Hamza. Return to the hotel.

Day 3 - Persepolis. Overnight in Yazd.

Breakfast in the hotel. Departure to Yazd (441 km.). Visit to the most famous landmark of Iran - the ruins of the ancient city of Persepolis. The city was once the capital of the great Achaemendi Empire, which ruled the vast Persian Empire between 559 and 330 BC. e. Particularly impressive in the ancient ruins are the magnificent man-made bas-reliefs that adorn the staircases of some of the royal palaces, representing a rich treasure of world art. The city, of considerable size and monumental ruins, was built on a huge terrace, half artificial, half natural. After exploring Persepolis, travel to Nagshe Rostam, an area famous for the huge tombs of the Persian kings and rock reliefs. In the evening transfer to Yazd. Hotel accommodation in Yazd.

Day 4 - Yazd. Overnight in Yazd.

Breakfast in the hotel. In the morning, a walk through the old town with its narrow streets, in which time seems to have stopped. Visit the Friday Mosque with the two tallest minarets in Iran. Visit to the Dovlat Abad garden with the largest city badgirs. Visit to the Zoroastrian fire temple, which houses a 1500-year-old fire. Visit to the Tower of Silence, Amir Chakmak Tower and Square. Return to the hotel.

Day 5 - Nain-Isfahan. Overnight in Isfahan.

Breakfast in the hotel. Departure to Isfahan (313 km). On the way, visit the carpet weaving center in Nain (open on weekdays from Saturday to Thursday). In the afternoon, explore Isfahan. Isfahan is the pearl of ancient Persia, one of the most beautiful cities of the Islamic world. The exquisite blue mosaics that decorate the high domes of the mosques, the large, old bazaar and the magnificent bridges of the city will not leave admirers of art and beauty indifferent. The history of the city goes back more than 2,700 years. During several post-Islamic periods, the city became the capital of Iran, but the golden age of its revival should be considered the 17th century, the period of the Safavid dynasty. With its world-famous, beautiful monuments, Isfahan has always been a favorite place to visit for many tourists. Visit to the Vank Church, located in the Armenian quarter of Jolfa, the architecture of which is a mixture of Christian and Muslim styles. Explore the music museum with a collection of traditional musical instruments and a small live concert. Hotel accommodation.

Day 6 - Isfahan. Overnight in Isfahan.

Breakfast in the hotel. Tour of Isfahan. The tour begins with one of the largest squares in the world, Nakhli-e Jahan, along the perimeter of which are the Imam and Lotfollah mosques, the Ali Qapu palace and the bazaar. Inspection of the huge Imam Mosque, which was decorated with half a million mosaic tiles. Inspection of the unusual Lotfolla mosque, built without a minaret and courtyard. Inspection of the six-story Ali Kapu Palace, designed to receive ambassadors of foreign powers. Visit to the Shah Bazaar, where you can buy original Iranian handicrafts. Next, the Chehel Sogun Palace is an outstanding building of Persian architecture, included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. In the evening, you can visit the magnificent Si O Se Pol and Khaju bridges, and enjoy aromatic Persian tea in a traditional teahouse. Return to the hotel.

Day 7 - Abyaneh-Kashan

Breakfast in the hotel. Departure to Kashan (215 km.). Kashan is an oasis city with a long history. On the way, visit the historic mountain village of Abyaneh with narrow streets that are impassable for cars and residents who still speak their dialect and wear ancient clothes. In Kashan, the large Persian garden Fin with numerous fountains, streams and pools, which is included in the UNESCO cultural heritage list, and one of the traditional mansions belonging to ancient merchants deserve special attention. In the evening, arrival at the international airport. Hotel accommodation at the airport (10 hours).

Day 8 - Tehran. Departure

Breakfast at the hotel, flight to Moscow.
